Our Story
Kenya Assemblies of God (KAG) is a Pentecostal denomination, planted in Kenya in 1972 by the Assemblies of God US. KAG is a member of the World Assemblies of God fellowship.
In Kenya, Assemblies of God is a family of churches numbering over 5,000 now (2026), and with a vision to double our reach and membership by 2030. The movement exists to worship God, evangelize, disciple, and serve the community through the love of Jesus Christ.
The aim is to continue to be a theologically sound and culturally relevant church — evangelizing, equipping, and engaging all communities with the gospel and the transforming power of Jesus Christ.
The vision is to raise Holy Spirit empowered leaders who will inspire and resource a generation to serve and influence every sphere of society through the love of Jesus Christ in collaboration with His global church.
