Departments
KAG's departments reach every age, need, and community — from children and youth to men, women, humanitarian relief, and church planting across all 47 counties.
01 · NextGen
KAG NextGen reaches the rising generation across three focused streams — Children, Teens, and Youth. Each stream is designed to meet young people where they are and root them in faith, Scripture, and Spirit-filled community.
Laying the foundation of faith for Kenya's youngest believers in every KAG congregation.
Guiding teenagers through adolescence with truth, community, and a strong sense of God-given identity. The Teens Ministry also supports the KAG Eco Cycle Initiative — a social enterprise tackling period poverty through reusable pad production and skills training for young women.
Raising bold, Spirit-empowered young adults ready to lead Kenya into its next chapter.
02 · Men's Fellowship
The purpose of the MF Department shall be to plan and promote a program for the men of the Kenya Assemblies of God that will bring growth to the spiritual life of the church and assist the church in its outreach to the needy and the lost. Its aim shall be to unite the men of the Kenya Assemblies of God in fellowship and Christian service by following the MF constitution and the teachings of the Kenya Assemblies of God.
A transformative gathering where men from diverse backgrounds converge for insightful discussions, skill-building workshops, and empowering connections — fostering personal growth and collective strength.
On that day in all Kenya Assemblies of God churches, there will be a special service concerning the work of MF. A special offering shall be taken — half remains in the local MF Fund, half sent to the national MF fund.
Every group shall make a special pledge toward the work of building new churches and the support of bible schools in Kenya. The members shall make a pledge as they are able.
A mentorship programme for reaching out to the next generation — discipling boys and young men through adventure, character formation, and faith.
03 · WWK
The women's department is one of the pillars in the organization of the Kenya Assemblies of God. Its main aim is to empower women to serve God in their individual capacity and be rooted in God's word. Started in 1976 in Kisumu, where 68 ladies gathered for the first convention.
Every December, women from across Kenya's 59 districts gather for the national WWK conference — a powerful time of worship, discipleship, teaching, and fellowship.
Each of KAG's 59 districts hosts its own women's convention, bringing women together at the local level for encouragement and spiritual growth throughout the year.
Every second week of February, WWK Big Day is celebrated across all KAG churches — a special occasion honouring women and the transformative work of the fellowship.
The WWK was born when 68 women gathered in Kisumu in 1976 for the first KAG women's convention. Now one of the most impactful departments in the denomination.
"When we empower women with God's word and resources, we ignite a ripple effect of faith, hope, and transformation in families and nations."
— Rev. Felishina Njoroge, WWK National Director
04 · KAGDev
KAGDev extends the compassion of Christ through humanitarian work — bringing clean water, food security, girls' dignity, and economic empowerment to Kenya's most vulnerable communities. In partnership with WorldServe Kenya and the Boys and Girls Missionary Challenge (BGMC), KAGDev runs six flagship programmes reaching every corner of Kenya.
05 · Church Planting
KAG's church planting mandate is urgent and unstoppable. Since 2018, KAG has planted 1,500+ churches across Kenya — with many congregations meeting under trees as permanent buildings are established. The goal: a Spirit-filled, Word-grounded congregation in every unreached community across all 47 counties by 2030.
KAG has maintained one of the most aggressive church planting programmes in Kenya, establishing new congregations in rural, urban, and peri-urban communities across all 59 districts.
Due to rapid church planting, KAG has over 500 congregations currently meeting under trees. These pioneer communities of faith are a testimony to the movement's urgency and the resilience of pastors and believers awaiting permanent structures.
KAG's Vision 2030 is to double the total number of congregations — from 5,000+ today to 10,000 by 2030. Church planting teams are working across all 47 counties to make this a reality.
KAG has a presence in all 47 counties of Kenya. Church planting teams are actively working to ensure no community is left without a Spirit-filled, Word-grounded congregation.
KAG Tabernacle Projects
Due to rapid church planting, KAG has over 500 churches meeting under trees. We are grateful to have completed close to 200 KAG Tabernacles — made possible through the faithful support of our partners. We are grateful for every gift that has turned a tree canopy into a house of God. To continue this work, we offer two standard tabernacle sizes. Partner with us to give a congregation a permanent home.
06 · Missions
KAGDOM exists to awaken, mobilize, equip, send, and support Spirit-filled missionaries to reach the unreached peoples of Kenya, Africa, and the nations of the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. As an answer to the call of the Great Commission and empowered by the Holy Spirit, KAGDOM is committed to raising a generation of churches and believers that carry God's heart for the nations.
Mobilizing the fellowship through intercessory prayer and sacrificial giving to fuel missionary work across Kenya, Africa, and the unreached nations of the world.
Building spiritual depth and leadership capacity in believers who will carry the Gospel effectively across cultural and geographical boundaries.
Equipping potential missionaries with the biblical foundation, practical skills, and cultural awareness needed to reach unreached and least-reached communities.
Facilitating direct involvement of KAG believers in cross-cultural ministry, building bridges and partnerships to expand the reach of the Gospel across Africa and beyond.
Collaborating with missions organizations, churches, and networks to maximize impact and ensure coordinated, effective Gospel advancement in unreached regions.
Positioning KAG to transition from a primarily receiving mission field to a strong, vibrant missionary-sending movement for the glory of God and the transformation of nations.
"KAGDOM is helping position the fellowship to move from being primarily a receiving mission field to becoming a strong missionary-sending movement through strategic partnerships, missions mobilization, leadership development, and intentional engagement with unreached and least-reached communities."
